The transformation story

Bare concrete and bold paint, now one calm, finished house

When we took this house on, the bedrooms had bare concrete where the old flooring had been pulled up, the walls were yellow, purple and blue, the kitchen had dark counters and mixed appliances, and the decks were gray and weathered. We put down new wood-look floors, painted every room a light neutral, gave the kitchen granite, a tile backsplash and stainless appliances, renovated both baths and stained the decks. The house now reads as one finished, light-filled home.

FAQ

Questions about the Carnegie Drive renovation

What work was done on this Fayetteville house?

Red Wolf painted every room, put new wood-look floors in the bedrooms and kitchen, gave the kitchen granite counters, a tile backsplash and stainless appliances, renovated the hall bath with a new vanity and tub surround, built a tiled walk-in shower in the primary bath, and stained the decks.

Were the kitchen cabinets replaced?

No. The white cabinets stayed in the same layout. The change came from new granite counters, a white tile backsplash, stainless appliances and a new wood-look floor, which gave the kitchen a fresh look without the cost and mess of tearing out the cabinets.

What happened with the bedroom floors?

When the house came to us, the bedrooms had bare concrete where the old flooring had been pulled up. We put down new wood-look plank flooring in every bedroom, so the floors now run in one consistent look through the bedrooms, kitchen and baths.
