How the process works
- Drone inspection. We look at your roof with a drone first, mainly because it’s safer for everyone. You get photos of what we found.
- Written estimate. Next, we send a written estimate that covers the materials, the work and anything we spotted that needs attention.
- The work. Our crew tears off the old roof and checks and repairs the decking. Then we put down new underlayment and install your new shingles or metal. We keep you posted along the way. A full replacement usually takes one to two days, though bigger or steeper roofs can take longer.
- Cleanup. We clean up as we go and finish with a magnet sweep for nails, then walk the job with you.
Every roof we install is backed by our workmanship warranty, and we walk you through it before work starts.

Red Wolf repaired termite damage in my home that was discovered during the seller's inspection and even worked through the weekend to ensure closing could happen on time. The price was very reasonable and the work was high quality. Very thankful for the crew's hard work.Posted on Google![]()

Red Wolf Roofing does far more than just roofing. Rob Boatner oversaw the complete rebuild of my deck, and from start to finish his communication, responsiveness, and professionalism were outstanding. When it's time for a new roof
Most roofs tell you when they’re done. Shingles curl or lose their granules. You find leaks in more than one spot, or the decking feels soft underfoot. If the problems are small and in one area, a repair is usually the right call, and we’ll say so. When the roof is worn out across the board, replacing it is the better use of your money. Selling soon? Read whether to replace your roof before you sell.
Asphalt shingles or metal
We install two kinds of roofs: asphalt shingles and metal.
Architectural shingles are a common choice in the Sandhills and last 25 to 30 years. They cost less up front and look good on just about any house. Metal costs more at the start and lasts longer, so it suits you if you plan to stay put. We’ll walk you through both and help you pick what fits your home and your plans.
What a roof replacement costs
A typical roof replacement on a home in our area runs $8,000 to $18,000. Where yours lands depends on a few things:
- Size. More roof means more material and more labor.
- Pitch. A steep roof takes more time and more safety setup than a low one.
- Material. Architectural shingles cost less than metal.
- Decking found. Once the old roof is off, we replace any rotten or soft decking before the new roof goes on. We’ll show you what we found before we fix it.
Your written estimate spells all of this out. Our roof cost page explains each factor in more detail. Our FAQ explains when insurance may pay for a new roof and which deductible applies. Financing options are available for qualified homeowners.
